Featured in The Celebration Society Magazine

A few months ago, I posted the lovely photos from Alisha's Fit for a Princess Baby Shower at the B Loft. And as I mentioned before, the event was absolutely gorgeous. Today,  I am so excited to see the photos make it's was to the latest issue of The Celebration Society's Magazine -Party Edition.

Not only and I super excited about the feature, but this time my face is up there too!! I love how the Celebration Society focuses on highlighting beautiful events along with the faces of the creative people behind it all. Isn't that genius ? As a former bride, I would have loved and appreciated seeing that connection between the work and the creative individuals that make it happen.

When I say I love what I do, I mean it and moments like this make me feel super appreciated!

Welcome to Atlanta | The Biltmore

If you don't know anything about me at all, there's one sure thing that stands out that everyone seems to pick up on. I'm from New York. Apparently, I have an accent that any Georgia native can identify and before I can complete my sentence, they're already smiling with the anticipation of the question that I hear about twice a day "Where are you from?"

Before moving to Atlanta, I worked as a wedding photographer in New York and had my head in deep researching all things weddings, and discovering venues that I'd love to photograph. One day I received an inquire from an Atlantan bride getting married at The Biltmore and I had no idea what that was. I think I even asked her "What part of New York is that?" Needless to say, she continued her own search elsewhere. But I became very intrigued at this point to take a look at this Biltmore place, and I loved everything about the colonial revival architecture that functions as a hotel, residential apartments and a gorgeous ballroom. 

Fast forward to May 2013, one year after moving to Atlanta, a fellow wedding photographer asked me to join her team for a day to photograph the amazing details of this wedding, and it just so happened to be at The Biltmore! My first wedding here in Atlanta and I'm in wedding photography bliss. What a wonderful way to relaunch my career here in Atlanta, hence the title of this post "Welcome to Atlanta!"

Oh-Brides Magazine Style Shoot + Bold American

In November 2012, I was extremely excited to be invited to join the Oh-Brides Wedding Magazine team for an exclusive private event that was styled by Steve Bales of Bold American Events at the King Plow Event Gallery.

Although we were not the published photographer for the event/shoot, I did capture some behind the scenes preparations and stunning details before the main event.

We also indulged in some amazing entrees and cocktails. An awesome night of work & play. I had an awesome time with Shondra & her team and I look forward to working with them again!

Brittany + Michael's Wedding

On New Year's Eve 2013, I brought in the new year doing what I love the most. I couldn't ask for anything more than to be a part a Bride & Groom's special day, and that I am thankful for. Brittany & Mike had a beautiful ceremony & reception at 103 West. It was an awesome celebration with Brittany & Mike and I wish them two the best!

Bridesmaids & Bubbly | In Detail

The details are breath taking. I remember when I planned my own wedding, I never once thought outside the box. Everyone on Long Island had this cookie cutter wedding where everyone pretty much did the same thing but in a different color. I guess thats what happens when you become the DIY bride.

Having a planner bring your dreams to fruition and more, is the route I'd take if I were getting married today.

Bridesmaids & Bubbly | Pink Carpet

Last month we had an awesome time shooting the Bridesmaids & Bubbly event hosted by ellyB events. An exclusive party celebrating & catering too all bridesmaids. Just seeing all the fun & beautiful bridal parties coming together gets me so excited as we anticipate the upcoming wedding season.

These ladies DRESSED for the pink carpet occasion, just imagine how awesome they'll look on the big day. I've never been so jealous of a bridal party as they enjoyed music, amazing appetizers and custom mimosas, scrumptious cupcakes, and french macarons, manicures and so much more.
