So when I started a photography business about 4 years ago, followed by getting pregnant, then having a baby, getting pregnant again and having another baby, I had no clue what I was getting into, and I literally took a break from everything! I left my job of 6 years, and focused on motherhood, and threw my Canon 40D on the shelf to collect dust. . literally. I didn't even pick up the camera to take photos around the house of my little one growing up. Oh yeah, it was bad. I was completely overwhelmed with breastfeeding, cloth diapers, homemade baby food, hand-washing laundry and completely abandoned my old life for a new normal.
I say all this to say that my kids are a huge part of my life, they are everything, so while I display my work here, expect to see a picture or two (or seventeen) of my babies. They are an extension of me. And no this doesn't mean that I'll be shooting your wedding with a 22 month old in a baby carrier on my back, it simply means that I have been to war and back, my patience has been tested almost 4 times an hour per day, and I do well under pressure! By the way, women should be allowed to put "Motherhood" on a resume, from one mother to another, I know that word speaks volumes
